The Education, Health, and Environment Campaign for orphan children focuses on providing comprehensive support to enhance their well-being and future prospects. This initiative aims to offer quality education, ensuring access to essential healthcare services, and promoting a clean, safe environment. By addressing these critical areas, the campaign seeks to empower orphaned children, helping them to overcome challenges, develop their potential, and lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. Through collaborative efforts, this campaign strives to create sustainable, positive change in the lives of these vulnerable children.
On April 29, our Batch-24 branch organized an amazing event at Giriful Shishu Sadan, Khagrachari Sadar, bringing education, health, and environmental awareness to over 70 children!
The day started with handing out educational materials, leading into a fun painting competition and a creative origami session. We also hosted interactive general knowledge sessions to keep young minds engaged and curious.
In the health segment, children learned proper hand washing techniques with special sessions on menstrual health for adolescent girls, followed by a sweet treat with cakes and lemon juice to cool down in the heat.
Next, we shifted focus to the environment by planting 3 lemon saplings within the Shishu Sadan premises, emphasizing the importance of planting and sustainability.
The event concluded with a prize distribution, awarding more educational materials to the winners of the competition. Representatives from the Batch-23 Branch, Tishya Chakma (Central Asst. General Secretary) and Madhurya Chakma (Central Asst. Organizing Secretary) joined this meaningful day.
Thank you to everyone involved for making this event such a success. Together, we're fostering education, promoting health, and nurturing the environment!
