From last August 18 to August 24, the entire Khagrachari district experienced a terrible flood situation. In this, lakhs of people of almost all upazilas of Khagrachari have been trapped in water and living inhuman life. People from all walks of life, including various humanitarian organizations, came forward with relief materials to alleviate the suffering of the said people.
On August 24, 2024, Save A Smile Foundation successfully delivered special food aid to the flood-affected families of Dhanirampara village, Matiranga Upazila, Khagrachari District—one of the most remote areas bordering Tripura, India. Despite the devastating flood that left many homeless and without any prior aid, it was through the collective support of our amazing donors that we were able to bring relief to 50 affected families.
