Bijhu Festival Field Cleaning Program

Event Overview

On Friday, 17 April 2026, following the successful conclusion of the fair organized on the occasion of Boisu–Sangrai–Biju–Bihu–Bishu–Chakran–Pata 2026 at New Zealand Para, Khagrachari Sadar, a clean-up campaign of the fairground was undertaken at the initiative of the Foundation.

The dedicated members of the Foundation participated in this program with great enthusiasm and a strong sense of responsibility. Through this initiative, we aimed to promote environmental awareness and social responsibility. However, due to limited manpower and strong winds that had scattered waste around the surrounding areas, it was not possible to clean the entire vicinity thoroughly. For this, the Foundation sincerely expresses its regret.

The program was led by the Foundation’s Assistant General Secretary, Tishya Chakma. Valuable support was provided by Shirsho Chakma and Pintu Chakma Dada. We extend our heartfelt thanks and deep gratitude to them for their commitment, cooperation, and support.

We firmly believe that even small initiatives, when driven by collective effort, can lead to meaningful change. The Foundation remains committed to continuing its work for the betterment of society and the environment in the days ahead. ?
